Fruit Farm Saves 45% With Behaviour Changes

Client

Priors Grove is a farm based between Hereford and Ledbury in Hertfordshire, UK.

Background

The farm was converted to organic food in the early 1980’s by the Pardoe family, who still run it today.

Now managed by Joe Pardoe, Priors Grove has gone from exclusively apple and pear crops to producing plums, pears and cherries and specialising in high quality niche varieties alongside bestsellers.

Need

The farm has significant energy needs which vary seasonally.

Throughout the busiest seasons, Mr Pardoe and his team have to power full, on-site cold stores which use a lot of energy to keep produce at the required temperature.

Result

Mr Pardoe identified an energy saving of 45% from using GridDuck. To read the full case study, please enter your email below. Contact us to learn more.
